Not Again!!

From the ashes it has risen again,
Phoenix! And I am to experience that pain.
It so also happened some time back,
And I could not peacefully hit the sack.
Took some time to overcome tumult inside,
Her and myself I could only deride.
I and myself were now living in peace,
But Venus it seems can't see me at ease.
Sweet, confident, intelligent and shy,
Some adjectives that describe thy.
Not blaming you, problem is with me,
My choice never agree with thee.
Those pretty dumb asses are big turn down,
Intellectual ones make me look clown.
Knowing myself, and her too, I know this,
Your intelligence, Your flair, you're beyond me miss.
Spoilt for options, I am definitely not,
Yet again will convince myself, am here to rot.
